Botanical Voyagers Collection
For as long as she can remember, Kristjana has been completely fascinated by the diversity of plants and botanicals from across the planet, from the slow growing electric green moss found in Iceland to the elaborate and colourful giant flowers and trees of the Americas and the Tropics. For many years, she has collected images over her travels, but finds it amazing to have the opportunity to see so many different species in one place, and this is how she has found herself spending so many hours of research and wonder in botanical gardens and glasshouses around the world, from Kristjana’s local Kew Gardens in South West London and the Lost Gardens of Heligan in Cornwall to the Jardims Botânico Tropical in Rio de Janeiro and Lisbon. These incredible structures enabled early explorers to transport plants from place to place, and display this exquisite flora to those who wouldn’t otherwise have ever seen it.
This collection is a culmination of Kristjana’s passion; a journey through the rich tapestry of the world’s botanical wonders and the exploratory nature of travel.
