The story behind the artwork

Inspired by the untamed beauty of Nature, this stunning, contemplative 3D tree explores the colours of all things living.  In this piece, Kristjana has played out a colourful journey of butterflies and fantastical animals on a tall standing tree. They make you sit up and notice all that surrounds you, and when faced with breathtaking nature on this scale, you cannot help but feel the desperate need to preserve it. The delicate 3D elements hover over the tree echoing the unity of nature.

Artwork Details

Bespoke Hand and laser cut paper collage. Digitally designed, hand sculpted paper elements are painstakingly pinned in place onto a thick foam board, creating a stunning three dimensional effect. Utterly unique in its composition and to its owner, an original artwork is one of its kind and cannot be replicated.  Your piece will be the only piece like it, anywhere in the world.

• Bespoke wooden box frame, painted with a smooth coat of matt paint.
