MAY EDITS

Our monthly favourite for spring could only be the Gin Botanical Birds Collection.
With the most recent pair now in New Zealand, the remaining works feel all the more fleeting. Washed in soft violets and sharp citrus hues, these botanical birds balance ornament with wildness - at once delicate and theatrical.

Botanical Tilda Gin Bird I – Purple & Citrus
Each piece begins as a fine art giclée print, then evolves in the studio as it is hand-cut and paper elements are carefully glued onto the surface to create sculptural dimension.
These works are not pinned like the full 3D editions, but they still hold real depth; shadows play between layers, and the piece shifts with the light.
Elena swears this one channels Tilda Swinton, and I can see why elegant, enigmatic, and quietly powerful.

Botanical Harry Gin Bird II – Red & Gold
This fiery bird blazes with crimson feathers, golden spice, and soft peach blossom a vivid, theatrical piece alive with energy and warmth. It’s the bold counterpart to its purple twin, and feels like a parrot mid-performance, bursting from a fantastical garden scene.
Elena saw Harry Styles in this one, and I have to admit it has a certain flair.
