The story behind the artwork

A graceful Lear parrot, popping with neon pinks and purples, framed by his tropical perch.  This Limited Edition artwork is inspired by the drawings of the greatest ornithological artist of his era, Edward Lear.

Edward Lear was an English artist, illustrator, musician, author and poet.  He was an incredible spirit and is best known for his popular nonsense collections of poems, songs, short stories, botanical drawings, recipes and alphabets.

This artwork forms one of a complementary pair which look stunning when hung together. Complete the pair.

Printed in our studio in London on Matt Smooth Fine Art Cotton 300 gsm, using giclée inks to ensure you are able to enjoy your print for years to come. All prints come with a physical Certificate of Authenticity.

Edition of 95, signed and numbered by the artist.

Limited Edition prints are delivered within 7–10 working days.

For orders shipped outside the United Kingdom, UK VAT is not charged.
