The story behind the artwork
A graceful Lear parrot, resplendently bedecked with its feathered, efflorescent headdress, and framed by a Springtime explosion of delicate florals. This Limited Edition artwork is inspired by the drawings of the greatest ornithological artist of his era, Edward Lear.
Edward Lear was an English artist, illustrator, musician, author and poet. He was an incredible spirit and is best known for his popular nonsense collections of poems, songs, short stories, botanical drawings, recipes and alphabets.
This artwork forms one of a complementary pair which look stunning when hung together. Complete the pair.
