The story behind the artwork

Kristjana's crown explodes with the untamed energy of the natural world, her beloved flora and fauna flourishing and tumbling through the metallic curves of the regal headpiece. The Tudor rose pops a crimson hue over snow-white stallions and playful dogs, the favoured animals of the Royal Family, and prickly brambles of King Charles' beloved British countryside tangle through the unmistakable motifs of the realm. The Royal Mail emblem and Queen Elizabeth stamp can be found alongside tiny cups of the nation's favourite drink and Charles' feathered insignia as Welsh prince. Black raven and an oblivious ostrich escape their tower confines and roam far from the Royal Menagerie, while a pair of common grey heron are given adornment in preparation for London's Coronation day.
