The story behind the artwork

A stunning architectural piece, in the brightest of blues, inspired by the Renaissance palaces of Rome as well as London's own historically iconic Victoria and Albert museum.   Kristjana has created a immersive sense of depth, using plates collected by John Barrington, and imbibed them with rich and vivid eye-popping colour.  Upon this dramatic backdrop, compositional elements inspired by the world renowned London designer Paul Smith, include the all-knowing dinosaur, a sewing machine and some elegant references to music, something that inspires the designer greatly.  A feast for the eyes and the imagination.
