Under an Eastern sun, cloud garlands of cherry blossom parade up and down the tree branches. They make for a dizzying flourish of candy floss pink always taken too soon by the wind. In Japan ‘Sakura’ (cherry blossom season) signifies impermanence and is a reminder to celebrate the exquisite beauty of life, in the moment, whilst it still is. Kristjana’s appreciation of nature and of Japanese culture is animated when visiting the ethereal walkway displays of cherry blossom in Kew Gardens each springtime. Revoke the beauty a little longer with this Art Tree Print, characteristically inhabited by vivid birds and magnificent British beasts.
