The story behind the artwork
A striking art print collection of a monochrome forest set alight from within by the gilded plumage of a pair of elongated hoofed ostriches. An evolved descendent of the genus Struthio camelus (the common ostrich), this creature is deceptively agile, with a razor-sharp mind and blistering vision to match. Their most recent predecessors’ range had been scaled back to Africa, but this Mx. honorific species increasingly roams in family packs under verdant tree canopies, which greedily grow back over once barren lands. Astrikur Silfradi depicts a mother with her young, rich in gem-like blues. Astrikur Gullni portrays an adolescent pair, striking in mustard yellow.

Printed in our studio in London on Matt Smooth Fine Art Cotton 300 gsm, using giclée inks to ensure you are able to enjoy your print for years to come. All prints come with a physical Certificate of Authenticity.
Edition of 175, signed and numbered by the artist.
