The story behind the artwork

A dreamlike orb suspended in space, Antlered Giraffe Hnöttur is alive with surreal beauty. At its crown stands a giraffe unlike any other crowned with antlers and adorned with delicate plumes, it gazes outward beneath a canopy of palms. Its reflection appears below, as if a mirrored realm turns silently beneath.

The globe itself brims with life: butterflies in vibrant flight, jewel-toned birds unfolding their wings, lizards darting across crystalline structures, and exotic blooms spilling over the surface. Fish and fantastical hybrids intermingle, blurring the lines between sky, sea, and land.

This floating world is a celebration of curiosity and transformation a universe where myth and nature entwine, and where each detail reveals a new story waiting to be discovered.
