An explosion of colour leaps from its creamy white ceramic base, with exquisite patches of silken yarns and faux gems woven together to tell the narrative of their creation.

The largest of these 'plötur' channels the pop art movement, the iconic smiley face setting the tone for bold and bright use of colour and a more contemporary, edgier style. Kristjana fans will find the familiar in the curiosities dotted around the side of the face, with paper floral growing from around the cheek and eye.

Artwork Details

Bespoke Hand and laser cut paper collage. Digitally designed, hand-sculpted paper elements are glued in place on a new base, a set of vintage ceramic plates, creating a stunning three-dimensional effect. Utterly unique in its composition and to its owner, an original artwork is one of its kind and cannot be replicated. Your piece will be the only piece like it, anywhere in the world.
