The story behind the artwork

Created using antique maps from Kristjana's extensive personal collection, a series of Original 3D map artworks that inspire travel and adventure wherever you are in the world.  Discover trademark flora and fauna from all corners of the globe, interspersed with Victorian engraved elements that reference icons from British history and culture. 

Each artwork is made to order and will be completely unique, but within the overall theme as illustrated in the artwork photography.  Simply choose your background map colour.

Artwork Details

Bespoke Hand and laser cut paper collage. Digitally designed, hand sculpted paper elements are painstakingly pinned in place onto a thick foam board, creating a stunning three dimensional effect. Utterly unique in its composition and to its owner, an original artwork is one of its kind and cannot be replicated.  Your piece will be the only piece like it, anywhere in the world.

• Framed dimensions (approximately): 35 cm x 35 cm x 10 cm
• Bespoke plexiglass box frame.
• Giclée printed on Matt Smooth Fine Art Cotton 300gsm.
• Signed by the artist.
• Comes with a physical ‘Certificate of Authenticity’.

This Original Artwork is made to order and we will require 3 - 4 weeks lead time to allow for creation, packaging and dispatch. Order before December 3rd to ship before Christmas.
