The story behind the artwork

Take a closer look into the subterranean jungle, an oasis of hydrous calm at the very bottom of the ocean. The waters here are suffused in pink, reflected from the luminescence of the verdant corals and marine flora. Here they are safe; untouched and thriving, their precious eco-system sheltered and held intact by the rocks that rise around as an under water canyon. The hero ray swims serenely by, tempting a troop of parrot fish from deep within the reef.

Deep Waters - Bleikur is also available as a one-off Original Porthole Artwork, a semi-3D piece, hand-finished and presented in a bespoke brass Porthole frame.

Artwork Details

Bespoke Hand and laser cut paper collage. Digitally designed, hand sculpted paper elements are painstakingly pinned in place onto a thick foam board, creating a stunning three dimensional effect.Utterly unique in its composition and to its owner, an original artwork is one of its kind and cannot be replicated.
