The story behind the artwork

Take a closer look into the subterranean jungle, an oasis of hydrous calm at the very bottom of the ocean. The waters here are suffused in the lightest blue, reflecting the cerulean skies far above. Flourishing corals and marine flora shimmer in neon. Here they are safe, untouched and thriving, their precious eco-system sheltered and held intact by the rocks that rise around as an under water canyon. A pair of hammerhead sharks patrol the waters, unperturbed by the kraken lurking in the depths.

Deep Waters - Blár is also available as a one-off Original Porthole Artwork, a semi-3D piece, hand-finished and presented in a bespoke brass Porthole frame.

Bespoke Hand and laser cut paper collage.
