From the celestial maps of the past emerges a new kind of voyage - not across oceans, but through layers of imagination and rebirth. These hybrid 3D artworks reimagine the world as nature might have dreamed it: free from constraint, abundant with reinvention, and alive with a quiet, sculptural pulse.
At the heart of each composition, a heroic creature stands as custodian of its realm. The zebra - patterned in the poetry of contrast, grazing amidst fantastical flora. A gentle sentinel of the canopy, stretches skyward through a kaleidoscope of foliage, surveying a horizon washed in soft, otherworldly hues.
These hybrid sculpted print edition artworks begin life as giclée prints, before being transformed through meticulously hand-cut and glued paper elements. While not pinned like Kristjana’s full 3D works, they rise from the surface with a rich sculptural quality, giving each piece a sense of movement, depth and quiet animation.

Created in an edition of 75, each work is signed and numbered by Kristjana and float mounted in a white box frame that showcases its layered construction.
