The story behind the artwork

Kristjana's golden honey bee glows with the mystery of royal anointing, the coronation crown planted firmly between roving antenna. It takes flight on lavender coloured, gilded wings, carrying its precious cargo of regal celebration. Beneath the red and white roses of Lancaster and York, hide the monarch's Thames-side swans and ever faithful canines; a golden orb weighs heavily, while tiny cakes, combs of honey and a swathe of most British bunting exude the spirit of celebration. This hero of the natural world continues its roving course as royalty adjusts and adapts in the 21st century.

Printed in our studio in London on Matt Smooth Fine Art Cotton 300 gsm, using giclée inks to ensure you are able to enjoy your print for years to come. All prints come with a physical Certificate of Authenticity.
