FROM PENHALIGON'S TO THE STUDIO

Following the private view of The Who’s Who of London, an immersive celebration by Penhaligon’s at the Royal Academy, the artwork Kristjana created especially for the event is now almost ready to launch online

Blue Nature’s Architect

Clara and her son Radcliff stand in the garden with Constance, surrounded by the cool blue of the mansion. Fresh notes contrast with tobacco, alcohol, honey and vanilla. Balloons float across the horizon, evoking the journeys each perfume takes us on.
Pink Nature’s Architect

Extravagant birds take centre stage, with Dorothea looking towards us and Beauregard towards the garden. Yasmine and Sohan arrive from afar. Cats dance on the roof as jewelled bees buzz, surrounded by roses, magnolias and irises.

For this latest chapter, Kristjana has created a new collection of Penhaligon’s inspired pieces, bringing members of the Portraits family and their stories into her own richly detailed visual world.

The collection includes four exclusive limited edition prints alongside two original maps of London, filled with the details, characters and landmarks that make the city such an important part of the Penhaligon’s universe.
Inspired by Dorothea Tanning,

this hall reveals the secrets hidden behind the mansion’s closed doors, from relationships and lies to whispered stories. A world of hidden connections and untold tales, where nothing is quite as it seems.
Inspired by Salvador Dalí,

this artwork celebrates the senses with an orange scented river, blooming flowers and vibrant colours. A glass house reflects the exchange of plants and cultures, while a starry portal leads to new sensory experiences.

Also, two original 3D artworks bring the East and West London maps to life, filled with Penhaligon’s characters, eccentric figures and unexpected details. From the buzzing streets of West London with Lord George and Lady Blanche to Duchess Rose and the Duke in the ever changing East, each scene captures the scents, characters and stories of London through flowers, citrus, tea, cake, perfume and wine.
