The story behind the artwork

An exhilarating celebration of one of London’s most vibrant of areas. So much more than just a street - the iconic Carnaby.  Combining Kristjana’s impactive typographical artwork with her beautiful and iconic maps, the seven letters leap out from behind their city backdrop. Hidden behind are the unmistakable monuments of London, past and present, an explosion of colour, life and vivacity.  The beautiful buildings carve their silhouette against a black sky, contrasting brilliantly with the brightest white of the letters. Warm, mustard hued clouds whisper of the energy and diversity of this West End gem, decorated here with luminous flora and magical fauna.

Printed in our studio in London on Matt Smooth Fine Art Cotton 300 gsm, using giclée inks to ensure you are able to enjoy your print for years to come. All prints come with a physical Certificate of Authenticity.

Edition of 275, signed and numbered by the artist.
